Fridge Oats

For those of you who love hot oatmeal, but don’t have time to make it in the morning or prefer something cooler on a hot day, Fridge Oats are a quick and easy breakfast that you can prepare the night before and leave overnight in your fridge. The next morning, your oatmeal is ready!

All you need is:

6 oz. yogurt (I scooped out a Chobani cup)

1/2 cup oats (not the instant kind)

1/2 cup milk (I prefer soy milk, but you can use almond or regular)

Mix together and leave in refrigerator overnight. If you’re using plain yogurt, I recommend a little honey or fruit compote to make things a little sweeter.

When you take it out of the fridge the next morning, you can eat it plain or top with fresh fruit, granola, or whatever else you’d like. If you find that the oats are too thick for your liking, you can always add some more milk to get things a little smoother.
